The Veative EduPro VR headset comes pre-loaded with over 500 Veative VR content modules. However, if you are using any other VR headset, there are two ways you can load the content modules:

  1. Installing the modules on the fly (Online)
  2. Installing the modules through Veative App Manager (Offline)

Installing the modules on the fly (Online)

To install the modules on the fly, you will first need to download and install the Veative Master App.

Once you have successfully downloaded the Veative Master App, you will be able to download the modules directly on your VR headset under Self Study mode. For installing modules, you should have a valid internet connection.

Simply open the module page under the Self Study section, and click “Install” to start the download and installation process.

Once installed, you can open the module on the headset. For each module you need to install, you will need to repeat these steps.

Oculus Go doesn’t support this mode.

Installing the modules through Veative App Manager (Offline)

The installation of the content modules on the VR devices can also be done through a Veative proprietary installation utility i.e. Veative App Manager. Veative App Manager utility enables simultaneous installations of multiple modules on multiple devices thereby removing the need for manual intervention of installing each module one by one. For the installation of applications and uploading of modules, you can simply connect the required number of devices to your PC/Laptop and run the Veative App Manager.

You can download the App manager utility by clicking on the following icon:

Step 1: To install modules on the devices, click “Install” on the Veative App Manager dashboard.

You may need a license key to activate the product(Contact Veative Support Team).

Step 2: To begin installation, you will have to first choose Standard, Level and Subject for the modules to be installed, then browse for the folder containing Veative Modules. Make sure there is no space in the folder path.

For Eg:            (a)    C://Desktop/Veative Module

                        (b)    C://Desktop/Veative_Module

Option (a) will not work because of space in “Veative Module”.

Your supplier may have provided you the list of modules (APKs)

Step 3: Select the modules (APKs), you want to install in your devices.

.cd is for Cardboard, .pi is for Pico and .gv is for Oculus Go

Step 4: After selecting modules, and clicking “Next’, the app manager will locate the connected devices so that the selected modules can be installed on the devices.

Step 5: You can then select the number of devices from the list and initiate installation of modules.

Step 6: After the successful installation, the App Manager will show device installation progress as “Complete” and you can click “Summary” to get detailed reports of the installation process.

With the help of device summary, the user can see if there is any failure during the installation process. As we can connect and install multiple devices in one go, having summary post installation, will give the user an overall observation of the process.

If a user observes any failure on any device, user can click device name to get the detailed report for specific device along with the issues faced during installation:

Insufficient space

Abort process

Disconnection from USB etc.
